In October 2002, Siobhan released her first album, titled "Permanent Markers", produced by Steve Rossiter at Axis Sound. In the years since, she has promoted the album and played throughout the NYC area.
Siobhan signed with the new NYC-based indie label, Blue Cocoon. The new album, tentatively titled "We're All Relics", is scheduled to come out Fall 2007. She plays throughout the city at venues such as Sine, Sidewalk, Bitter End, Parkside Lounge, the CBGB Gallery…she also recently opened for her musical hero, Mike Viola (of the Candy Butchers).
Siobhan's musical career was a bit of an accident. Theatre was her first love. But her voice was deemed too "gritty" for the musical theatre world. So she did what anyone else would do: wrote her own songs! She mixes her sha-zitt up with guitar, banjo and piano. With her unique sound and smart lyrics, Siobhan O'Malley is one artist to watch!
